EDWARD FERNANDES earned an Interdisciplinary Doctoral Degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Social Psychology and Sexology, from the Union Institute and University. Additionally, he has a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology, and an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brock University. As well, Dr. Fernandes earned a Diploma in Sex Therapy and has had extensive training in Sexual Behaviour and Sexuality Education.

Dr. Fernandes is recognized as a leading researcher in the field of alternative lifestyles.  Most of his research focuses on Swinging and Open Marriages. He has published several articles and research papers on Consensual Non-Monogamies and has presented his research at several Scientific Conferences (Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality; Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues; and American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counsellors and Therapists).
